#WinterBluesSALE!

It's time for a change over of our display and samples!  January is the month in which our favorite designers create new collections and we have been fighting off our winter blues by searching the length of the country for fresh designs, products, art work and homewares which we think you will love!

In preparation for their arrival and as a wee thank you for all your loyal custom over Christmas and New Year, we felt it appropriate to help dash away your winter blues, with a terribly exciting Sale!

We have a variety of framed screenprints and digital prints which have been used for display and now need more permanent home, like wise some of our sample bags, necklaces, rings, stationary, kitchenware and ceramics are on offer, some with over 25% off.

This is a very limited collection of lovingly made goodies - in many cases the last of their kind - so it is only available directly from The Red Door Gallery, 42 Victoria Street, Edinburgh, EH1 2JW.  If you have any questions, please email nicky@edinburghart.com or call 0131 477 3255.

4 Coller Birds

So this is another fabulous moment of pun-age!  Marie-Rose has some super sweet, stylish necklaces which will remind some of the home-sewer's out there of pattern kits from yester-year!  A wearable look-book from the rose-tinted decade's of the 50's, 60's and 70's... and you wear them round your collar... and there's 4 of them... and The Eels song "I Like Birds" explains everything else, except the price which is £18.50 per necklace.  If you would like to see more from this designer or buy one of these gems click here and tap your toes, shop and bop to the music.

Patrick Moore on The Big Breakfast

Here at The Red Door Gallery, we were sad to hear that legend Patrick Moore died on December 9th.  A man with abundant passion, enthusiasm, intellect has made his mark on many generations.  We love his attachment to his cat, his 1908 Woodstock Typewriter, The Sky at Night, and above all his sense of humor.

Heather print by Laurie Hastings!

We just got these beautiful screen prints - 'Heather' - in from Laurie Hastings! We thought we would give them a mention as we think they evoke the feelings of a dreamy autumn night, maybe fireworks night even, and it reminds us that even though evenings get chilly this time of year, it is still a beautiful sight to behold. If they take your fancy or you think they might take someone else's, the prints are available on our newly revamped online shop and in store along with a great selection of other prints by Laurie!
