Sweet Treat Jewels

sweettreatsWe all love a Sweet Treat be it biscuits, cakes or juicy fruits! This weeks jewellery blog is full of lots of treat themed jewellery so you can wear your sweet indulgences as necklaces, earrings and brooches!

To start us off we have the Fresh From The Oven Bakery Collection by I Love Crafty. This range includes the cutest Donut Necklaces and Rings in layered acrylic showing the icing layers and cute little sprinkles on top. They look good enough to eat.

Local artist Rebecca Wilson makes our favourite biscuits and iced gems out of porcelain with gold detailing. We love her Nice Biscuit Brooch with saucy pin up on the side and her cute little ice gem studs available in a variety of styles. If you love her biscuit brooch your going to die for her Time for Tea Wall Clock. It Features all the classic tea time biscuits.

We’ve got lots of Sweet Treat earrings by Lady Muck. Her little Ice Cream Cones come in a variety of colours, if juicy fruits are more your thing we have cherries, apples and little strawberries too or the Juiciest Watermelon Necklace by The Squid Ink Co (online soon)

Wear your love of the sweet stuff on your lapel with The Bellwether’s I love Cake and Biscuit Badges or these cute little badges from Sarah Ray (available in the gallery)

To finish off this weeks Sweet Treat Jewels we have new Brooches from Acorn and Will in lots of Candy Colours as well as cute as a button little earrings too! all soon to appear online.

If the real deal is more your thing we really are spoilt for choice is the surrounding area. If you’re an ice cream lover then you must visit Mary’s Milk Bar in the Grassmarket for the best Ice Cream in Edinburgh. A Milk Malt Milkshake is a must.

Tastes just like the biscuits!

Further up the hill at West Port is Lovecrumbs. In our opinion, some of the best cakes in Edinburgh all served up on the cutest vintage crockery.

And lets not forget our new french neighbours here on Victoria Street. La Barantine Victoria Serving up the most delicate french patisserie. We’ve sampled some of their macarons and they’re delicious!

Too many Sweet Treats in one blog! We’re off to buy cake…or biscuits….or ice cream…..maybe all three!
