Kirsty Baynham and David Fleck are preparing workshops for our “Museum After Hours” Festival events, here in Edinburgh. These evening events are your chance to enjoy a unique flavour of the Fringe and explore the museum after hours with hand-picked performers, cabaret, music, bars and the spectacular exhibition, Ming: The Golden Empire. The Red Door Gallery are delighted to b presenting workshops on Friday August 8th and Friday August 15.
Above and below you can see details of Kirsty Baynham’s paper crafting workshop, which will be included in your ticket price. Her intricately detailed designs are inspired by the Museum’s Common Cause exhibition and the animals who served during World War 1. This event takes place on Friday August 8th and tickets are available here.
David Fleck is hosting our second workshop on Friday August 15th and tickets are available here. David Fleck’s large-scale, interactive piece is still under construction, but we have some photos of David gathering inspiration from the top of The National Museum of Scotland, just to give you a wee hint of what might be in store!
