Tori - Dog On Wheels!

 We had a rather special couple of guest in the Gallery today!  Meet Tori, a Therapy dog who has traveled all the way from The USA with her owner, as a passenger on a plane. As you can tell from the way she strikes a pose, she is has an amazing personality!  She came on a special journey to The Red Door Gallery to buy the rather awesome dog on wheels necklace!  We hope you enjoy Bonnie Scotland.  You can learn more about Tori through her blog.

That Festive Feeling! The Red Door Gallery Christmas Windows featuring Hannah Botma...

Our first festive windows are packed full of Dinosaurs wearing Santa hats, sack loads of prezzies and art works gallore! Thanks to Hannah Botma for her excellent Dino-deccorations.

Last night, Edinburgh’s Christmas Lights came to life, the Winter Wonderland opened, so that festive feeling is in the air.  Wherever you are, keep cosy, grab a hot Chocolate and start your Christmas Shopping with The Red Door Gallery Online from the comfort of your own home.

Self Portrait Badge Making at RBS Museum Lates - Photos Of You all!

Our latest craft event at The National Museum of Scotland saw hundreds of happy doodlers posing for their self portrait which was then personalized with pencils, glitter and stickers…





… and finally stamped down into a wearable Self Portrait.  Perfect for parties, or as a generous gift of your face, for a loved one.  This idea was based on the tradition of miniature portraits which were often given as a token of love or respect during Mary, Queen of Scots era.  As usual, The Red Door Gallery team was in place with a Pop Up exhibition featuring inspirational art work, most importantly Mary, Queen of Scots by Patricio Belcampo which was created in response to the Mary exhibition NMS.

 We always like to keep you up to date with new goodies here at The Red Door, so here's a sneak peek of some of our new products from Clockwork Soldier!
