Maps the world

home is where the heart is by kate and the inkAs New Year’s Eve approaches, we are meeting a lot of travellers in the gallery and every voyage needs a good map!

home is where the heart is by kate and the ink - sewnOne of our newest into the gallery is a screenprint by Kate and the Ink.  The print comes with a needle and thread so you can embroider your very own “X” to mark where your heart lies.

Wildlife of the British Isles MapWe also have this beautiful Wildlife map of the UK by Kate Mclelland and a sister Wildlife Map of Scotland.Map of IslayKate’s collection of maps also includes a map of Islay, showing the many famous distilleries found on the island.  Illustrated World MapAnother favourite of ours, is Alice Tait’s World Map, it’s a colourful and cheerful reminder of beautiful the wildlife and architecture found across the world.Map of ParisAlice also has a range of city maps including Paris, Rome and others you can view here.UK Shipping We have also had this amazing print of the UK Shipping Areas framed in the gallery recently, and it’s been brilliant hearing stories from people living all over the world that listen to the Shipping Forecast every night.
