Trick or Treat

 Happy Halloween!!
What have you all got planned on this very wet Halloween? Scary ghost tours, Fancy Dress Parties, Digging out your favourite scary movie?
We're hoping we might get a spooky treat in cupcake form.
Don't let their scary appearance full you! These gruesome little cupcakes are delicious to the core!
Made by the talented guys and girls at Cuckoo's Bakery,
You are sure in for a treat when you visit their little tea room and bakery on Dundas Street.
How many guys and girls out Trick or Treating will be lucky enough to get one of these little guys? We're hoping we are! Watch out for those ghosts and ghouls tonight! BOOOooooo!!!

Bring Your Dancing Shoes!

Us girls down at the Red Door Gallery like a boogie every now and again and when all proceeds go to charity it's even better!
Why not get yourself down to the City Cafe this Friday night 27th October and help raise money for the St Columbas New Build.

Peter Holmes of Beseated is organising this charity event in memory of Joyce his machinist, who sadly passed away two years ago. Joyce loved music and a party so lets celebrate her memory and help raise funds for the St Columbas New Build.
It's going to be a club night like the good old days where all music on the night will be played on vinyl.

Dust off your dancing shoes and we'll see you on the dance floor!

The City Cafe, Blair Street, Edinburgh
Friday 27th October 2012, 8pm-Late
Tickets £10- Available from Peter (call/text) 07899854252
please purchase tickets in advance and present on the night

He knows what love isn't!

Here's another nod to a Swedish band, we've gone mad for Sweden! This is Jens Lekman! He's onto his fourth album now 'I Know What Love Isn't' so you might have already heard of him? Check out the title track above and if you ever get a chance to see him live....go for it, you won't be able to stop your self having a wee boogie! If you like this, it's also worth checking out Blood Music too, he's even collaborated with First Aid Kit!

A Dedicated Follower Of...Devastee

Do you love illustration AND fashion?! Yeah!? Us too! That's why the french design duo Devastee are so ace! Francois Alary the brains behind the drawings and Ophelie Klere the brains behind the design, combine their genius to create dark and sinister garments with a cheeky twist all in the strict palette of black and white, all pretty wearable too! Too die for....
