I always love coming across fun new webshops that I haven't seen before, so I had a grin a mile wide when I came across RE-foundobjects. Started by two fashion graduates back in 2003, their bricks and mortar shop began out the back of a filling station in Corbridge, North East England. We are lucky enough now to be able to do our shopping online too which allows us to paw over all their gorgeous goodies - vintage welsh blankets (above), kitchenware, old sign and gardening tools all help make up their ecclectic mix of products on offer.

Owners Simon and Jenny agree their is 'no point attempting to shoehorn the range of RE's stock into a paragraph, but if you do need a plaster Virgin Mary and a bottle of the best bubble bath in the world, this is the place.'

Emily Hogarth popped in yesterday with some new prints and another copy of 'Edinburgh', the lovely piece above. There has been a few of you enquiring about this piece - and yes it is stunning in real life and one of an edition of just 5. At £90 this is a bargain. Emily was also featured in this month Skinny mag as 'one to watch' and we fully agree!

Jamie from Broken Toy posted another fab product in the post to us this week - the fun and useful pop.dot postcard! We all remember popping our way to make pictures at primary school, but now we can pop our very own message, pattern or image to friends in the form of a lovely postcard. Each plywood postcard is packaged in a cellophane envelope with instructions and sample sheets printed on tracing paper. They are in stock both online and instore and can be yours for just £7.50 each. Poptastic!

I think its time to introduce y'all to one of our favourite bands; FOUND, as they make their debut at the huge SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Based in Edinburgh, this 5 piece 'Electro-Art-Glitch-Pop' group have been making waves all over the Europe over the last few years and steadily gaining a rather large following from fans all over the globe. Their self-released debut ‘Found Can Move’ earned them an impressive amount of UK national radio play, video clips on MTV Europe and an exclusive live session in the legendary ‘Beatles Studio’ at Abbey Road for US radio station U-Pop XM 29. These guys know how to make noise sound great and will be taking this unique sound to all the folk in SXSW and New York over this coming week. If you can't get to Austin (and lets face it, we would all love to be there) you will just have to check these guys out via their website, myspace or at one of their next live gigs (which cements their amazing abililty, as live shows from FOUND are legendary). Best of luck in Texas guys!

Long time exhibitor at The Red Door, Lucy Gough has just finished the sweetest series of new photographic digital prints. All in editions are limited to 50 and are a steal at £40. The bright colours are also great at putting us in wonderful cheery moods. Thanks Lucy!

There have been rumors of a new print series from Seymour in the pipeline over the last few months and today we were thrilled to open a parcel containing his latest 'The Snapshot Series'. Consisting of three individual prints, this series is based on mental snapshots in time experienced by the artist. We just love them and think at just £32 each (or the set of three for £88) you will too!

With years of successful collections under their belt, Melbourne based fashion house, MaterialByProduct has finally launched their website - which by the way, we can't get enough of!

Based in a small house in fitzroy, Susan Dimasi and Chantal Kirby (along with their wonderful team which includes my sister Helen) create some absolutely stunning garments which all address sustainability and relevence within the fashion world whilst being equally luxurious in their own right. Check out their collections and slip into a dream world of which pieces you would love to take home with you - I think for me it would be every single one!

One minute I am thinking about spring and the next my mind switches back to winter. I think it may be to do with these gorgeous scarves which just arrived from Erin McIntyre, a knitted textiles graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone Collage in Dundee. Priced between £18-£24 these are perfect for those slightly chilly evenings (of which there are sadly more to come).

It may just be that the feeling of spring is upon us, but for some reason (for which there are too many to list) I cannot stop thinking about cake today! The sweetness and softness that is a good cake paired with the perfect cup of tea can make anyone's day. I quite fancy a slice of this lemon drizzle cake for afternoon tea - anyone want to join me?

Some brand spanking new illustrations from Kate Hazell arrived at our doorstep a few days ago. In store is a wonderful selection of her quirky prints and cards, so time to pop on in and check these beauties out!
